II. Your Rights as a Data Subject

1. Access and Rectification

You may obtain information from us at any time, free of charge, as to whether personal data relating to you is being processed by us and, if so, which specific data relating to you is stored, and in the event of storage (not applicable within the scope of the online exhibition) request a copy of the stored data. You may also have inaccurate data corrected and completed.

2. Erasure, Restriction, and the Right to Be Forgotten

You may request the erasure and restriction of the processing of your personal data insofar as the purposes for which it was collected are no longer necessary or if the processing is based on your consent and you have withdrawn that consent. Please note that there may be statutory retention obligations and that we may therefore not be permitted to delete your data completely in every case; we also reserve the right to store such data until the expiry of the statutory limitation periods. In this case, your data will be marked with the aim of restricting its future processing.

3. Data Portability

Where applicable, you also have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to have it transmitted to you or another controller, provided that the processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means. However, this does not apply where the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller. Furthermore, you have the right to obtain the direct transmission of personal data from one controller to another, where technically feasible and provided that this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

4. Withdrawal / Objection

You have the right at any time to withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future using the contact details provided above.

You also have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you that is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest or in the public interest. In the event of an objection, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

5. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority and to pursue legal remedies. The supervisory authority with which the complaint has been lodged will inform the complainant of the status and outcome of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy.

To exercise your rights, please use the contact options stated above.

6. Existence of Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

7. Obligation to Provide Data

The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the processing of the technical data mentioned above, the website cannot be displayed.
