19Axel Springer Award

2020Since 2016, Axel Springer has presented the Axel Springer Award to individuals who stand for digital innovation, disruption and social responsibility. Recipients have included Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Sam Altman (OpenAI), Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The rocket was part of the award staging for Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who received the award in 2020.
